Yeah!! testing is over! And it's back to work.

5th grade- Yes, we are doing this section and yes, you do have to write the vocabulary words. Come prepared to class tomorrow with lesson 5 read and your vocabulary competed.

7th Grade- Be ready to work!

8th Grade- Adjective test tomorrow. You must be able to identify the following types of adjectives: common descriptive adjectives, articles, nouns as adjectives, proper adjectives, pronouns( possessive, demonstrative, interrogative and indefinite) as well as compound adjectives. Students have sufficient notes along with their textbooks to prepare for this test. It sounds scarier than it is. Reading test will be next week covering several short stories we have read the past few weeks. We will be starting the "Ultimate Gift" by Jim Stovall next week. I have ordered an audio copy so that we can listen to the book in class. If you want your child to have a print copy that's fine but not required. In lieu of reading our novel at home, they are supposed to be reading a novel outside of class ( assigned several weeks ago).
